It's very simple to make, the things that needs to be done is to use the correct ingredients which includes one and a half pound peeled crab meat, three green onions, one forth cup of parsley, three tablespoon of yogurt, three tablespoon of line juice, two cloves of garlic, one and a half tablespoon of mustard powder, one and a half tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce, half tea spoon hot red pepper sauce, one cup of bread crumbs(plain), whites of three eggs, four tablespoon of vegetable oil, three lemons unpeeled and salt according to taste.
Start preparing crab cake by slicing the green onion into tiny pieces and by grinding parsley and garlic together. Then jumble crab meat with sliced green onion, parsley and onion paste, yogurt, line juice, garlic, mustard powder, Worcestershire sauce, red pepper sauce and salt in a big bowl. After the jumbling of above ingredients add one forth cup of bread crumbs to it and mix it well.
The next step is to take out the whites of the eggs in a bowl. Now by means of an electronic beater beat the eggs white until it becomes soft and foams appear. The foams in the egg whites are obvious when beaten. When the foam takes the shape of a mountain the work is done. When it's all set, mix the egg whites mildly and slowly with the above crab mixture. Now it's time to give the shape to the crab cakes. This mixture is enough to make twelve four inch round shaped cakes.
Now pour the left over bread crumbs on a wax paper and douse the cakes in it. Then chill the cakes in a refrigerator for at least couple of hours. After chilling, the time comes to fry it. Take one tablespoon of oil in a large iron pan and heat it. The frying should be done for three minutes on high for both the sides of the cakes. Continue this till all the crab cakes are done.
Use sliced lemon to garnish the crab cake and to make it more presentable. Sprinkle tartar sauce over it to increase the taste. Crab cake is quite loved by Americans when served in Seafood dinner.
